Many articles and books have been written about chronic pain. There is a lot to understand and comprehend. Chronic pain can make one feel like their life sucks. And let me tell you, it does! Pain sucks! I know first hand how it feels to be in pain on a daily basis!

Yet there is hope! I also know that first hand!

 

I have been a physician for over 2 decades but it has only been the last 3 years that I have truly become a believer. Believer in healing from chronic pain.

 

Common sense tells us that pain means “there is something very wrong with my body”. For acute pain it may be the case. But for chronic pain, in the vast majority of cases, the problem lies in a dysregulated nervous system (even if you were told otherwise).

 

In 2021 I was able to heal my chronic pain I have had since 2007. I studied teachings of Dr Lissa Rankin (about mind body connection and belief), Dr. Howard Schubiner and Alan Gordon (about using mind body connection to reduce pain). I have combined their teachings and found success for my own pain. 

 

You don’t have to wait for more than a decade to get better. I want to share the way to success with you. I am now offering the knowledge and experience that changed my life: new understanding of chronic pain and a manual on how to get there.

 

In its most fundamental principle, chronic pain is about a very worried central nervous system - our brain. CHronic pain is a response to a threat. And when I say “threat” it does not mean you have to feel physically or otherwise “threatened” to feel pain. Threat response means any type of “threat” your brain feels like it needs to respond to. It can be physical, emotional or psychological. Or a deeply hidden wound from our childhood.

 

It took me years to understand (and incorporate in my life) that I am now condensing into 9 weeks of a beautiful, expansive and transformative experience. Information that took hundreds of hours to learn and absorb and apply, I have distilled into 9 lessons/modules that I personally teach weekly, for 9 weeks.

 

Winning at Chronic pain is an online coaching program where you learn new material and then I guide you each week through a new lesson where you practice and apply the knowledge. And by practice I mean literally we talk and I show how to apply the new knowledge.

WHO AM I AND WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?

I am Dr. Martina Ziegenbein and I have special interest and training in helping patients with chronic pain via non-medication routes. I have chronic pain myself. Thanks to my training I was able to help reduce my pain significantly and have helped dozens of patients since.
